Robert J. Ambrosi, born in 1950, is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and founder of ARC Properties, Inc., and was founder, President, and Chairman of ARC Corporate Realty Trust, Inc., a public but non-listed Net Lease Property Real Estate Investment Trust. Mr. Ambrosi has over 35 years of experience in the acquisition, development and management of real estate projects internationally. He began his career as a real estate analyst at the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York. He was then hired as a Vice President to open the New York Office of Marcil Properties, a Canadian real estate investment banking firm, and was responsible for the acquisition of U.S. real estate and Net Leases on behalf of foreign based investors. In 1979 he co-founded Tibor Pivko + Company, an international real estate advisory company with activities in the United States, Europe and the Middle East. In 1985 he founded ARC Properties Inc., to specialize in the acquisition and development of Net Leases and real estate properties throughout the United States. He has a Master's degree in Finance from Rutgers University, a Senior Certificate in Real Estate from New York University, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Mr. Ambrosi has been a frequent guest lecturer on international business at several universities including the Graduate Schools at Duke University and Rutgers University.
Marc Perel, CPA, born in 1953, is President, Chief Operating Officer, and co-founder of ARC Properties Inc., and was Executive Vice President and Director of ARC Corporate Realty Trust. Mr. Perel has more than 30 years experience in all fields of real estate including acquisitions, planning, entitlements, development, leasing, management, and financing. As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Perel is responsible for the day to day operations at ARC. Mr. Perel began his career at Zimmerman & Co., a certified public accounting firm where he became a partner and head of the firm's real estate department. Mr. Perel has been involved in all aspects of the real estate development and acquisitions business including specific responsibilities for the environmental remediation of properties for which, on behalf of the company, he received the prestigious National Phoenix Award given by the Environmental Protection Agency. Mr. Perel has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting from Long Island University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Bruce Nelson, CPA, born in 1954, is Chief Financial Officer of ARC Properties, Inc. and former Chief Financial Officer of ARC Corporate Realty Trust. Prior to joining ARC Properties, Inc. in 1996, Mr. Nelson was Controller and Treasurer for the Cirkus Real Estate Group, one of the largest real estate developers and property managers in New Jersey. Prior to that he was the Corporate Accounting Manager for Becton Dickenson, a Fortune 500 Company. Mr. Nelson has substantial experience in financial statement preparation, financial reporting, and the establishment and maintenance of internal controls in a variety of real estate venues for public reporting companies. Mr. Nelson is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from William Paterson College of New Jersey.
Gary S. Baumann, Esq., born in 1968, is General Counsel at ARC Properties, Inc. Mr. Baumann is an attorney admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey and has practiced law at the nationally recognized firm of Lowenstein Sandler, P.C. and the international construction law firm of Peckar and Abramson, P.C. Mr. Baumann has served the real estate and construction industry for 20 years as a construction project executive, construction attorney and as a consultant. Mr. Baumann has guided project participants with individual undertakings ranging from 3 to 200 million dollars through risk examination, project delivery counseling, document drafting and negotiation, claim analysis, and dispute resolution. Mr. Baumann earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Kean University, Magna Cum Laude.
Joseph M. Morena, born in 1953, is Executive Vice President at ARC Properties, Inc. and was formerly Treasurer of ARC Corporate Realty Trust (ACRT). Prior to ARC Properties, Inc., Mr. Morena was Chief Financial Officer of Tel-Save Holdings Inc., a publicly traded telecommunications company. Prior to Tel-Save, Mr. Morena was Vice President Treasurer of Air and Water Technologies, a New Jersey based publically traded international design engineering and construction company. Mr. Morena has substantial experience in corporate finance, including capital raising in the public IPO market, bank loan, public bond and private placement markets. Mr. Morena also has significant business management experience in the area of financial statement preparation and control, as well as investor relations. Mr. Morena has a Master's degree in Banking and Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Business, both from New York University.
Steven L. Maloy, born in 1957, is Senior Vice President of Investments at ARC Properties, Inc where he concentrates his efforts on the acquisition of Net Lease Properties. Over the past 15 years Mr. Maloy has been involved in the financing, sale, and acquisition of over $2 billion of Net Lease Property transactions, including within the past three years 25 Net Lease Property transactions with ARC. Mr. Maloy was a founding partner and Executive VP in charge of originations and new business development at CapLease Funding, LP which is now a publicly traded Net Lease Property Real Estate Investment Trust. Prior to founding CapLease Funding, LP Mr. Maloy was a partner at Liberty Equities in charge of new property acquisitions. Mr. Maloy started his RE career more than 28 years ago with Cushman and Wakefield in NYC. Mr. Maloy has a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Hartford.
Claudia Gibson, born in 1949, is Vice President of Capital Markets of ARC Properties, Inc. Ms Gibson joined ARC in 1985 and then became a partner at ARC giving her over 20 years experience in the ownership of commercial real estate. Ms. Gibson is responsible for coordinating financing, acquisitions, and property sales. Ms. Gibson is also responsible for market research and valuation data, including due diligence analysis on new acquisitions. Prior to joining ARC Properties Ms. Gibson was an office and systems administrator for the Security Mutual Life Insurance Company in Kearney, Nebraska. Ms. Gibson attended South Dakota State University where she had a dual major in political science and journalism.
Stephen J. O'Brien, born in 1960, is Vice President of Finance at ARC Properties, Inc. Mr. O'Brien is a former Vice President for Allfirst/M&T Bank from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that Mr. O'Brien held vice presidential positions with both Mellon Bank and Meridian/CoreStates Bank where he was responsible for origination, underwriting and administration of diverse loan portfolios throughout the tri-state area. Mr. O'Brien started his real estate career in 1983 with Continental Bank where he became a Commercial Loan Officer. Mr. O'Brien holds a Bachelor of Science degree is Business from Widener University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Mr Pantone, born 1962, is Regional Director of ARC Properties, Inc. As Regional Director, Mr. Pantone focuses on the acquisition and development of Net Lease Properties, and the creation of new investment relationships. Mr. Pantone has over 25 years of executive level experience in all aspects of commercial real estate including lending, equity investing, principal in operating companies, financial intermediary, and asset management. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pantone opened the Chicago office and was Managing Director of Buchanan Street Partners where he underwrote, originated, or closed over 20 transactions totaling $600 million in total capitalization. Mr. Pantone was also Managing Director and co-founder of AEG Real Estate Advisors where he developed the strategy and revenue base for the real estate practice alongside parent AEG Partners. Prior to AEG, Mr. Pantone held several senior positions at Heller Financial Real Estate where he co-developed the firm's successful Net Lease/Sale-Leaseback/Credit Tenant Property Group. Mr. Pantone holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration from Illinois State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Mr. Rivera is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University with a degree in Marketing and Finance. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rivera was President of East Cost Properties, LLC, a New Jersey real estate company. Mr. Rivera has more than twelve years experience in the New Jersey commercial real estate market, specializing in acquisitions, brokerage, leasing, and management.
Mr. Ambrosi is a graduate of Villanova University with a bachelor's degree in Communications and Business Administration. Since joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Ambrosi has been assisting in the acquisition, sale, and development of real estate properties. In addition, Mr. Ambrosi serves as the administrator of information and business technology for the company.
